For astro-relocation, can I just travel to the destination 2 have a beneficial experience or do I have to move

I am interested in getting an astrological relocation chart done in order to see if my life will improve in another location (i.e., I am in NYC and want to go to San Francisco). The trouble is I am not financially able to move now and I am wondering if I can just travel to the designated location(s) for a short bit instead of making a full move to reap the benefits of the relocation? I can't seem to find this answer anywhere so if you happen to know please post! Thanks for your serious answers:)
