What do you think of the 2012?

I've read studies that warn about solar storms that could occur in the future that are so intense they will literally destroy the communication and power centers for the entire planet. If this occurs then the problem will take years to fix and would be catastrophic to the entire world economic production. Every modern convenience we know of would cease to exist for decades. Effects to world populations would be catastrophic and we would be thrown back into the dark ages unless we are prepared in advance for such an event. So yes, no, and yes.
