My teacher won't let my make up work from an excused absence?

My teacher isn't allowing my to make up a test because the semester ended. I missed the test because of an excused absence. She said I had a week to make it up the test (I had four days because we had Friday off), but I am not allowed to make up ignments in cl so I had to come before and after school. Unfortunately there were multiple cles and I had to make work up for, so despite coming early and staying late all week I was unable to finish all the work and now I have a low grade on my report card. What can I do? I feel this is unfair because I worked hard to get all my make-up ignments in on time, wake up at 5 every morning during midterms so I could be in early, and arranged rides and walked several miles when this was not possible so I could be there when teachers were. On top of that I wasn't feeling well! I honestly feel I did the best I could under the cirstances. I would have stayed later, but the teacher had a meeting! I asked guidance, and they said all they could do was arrange a meeting, which doesn't sound like it will do me any good. Help?
