Do I stand a Chance with him?

Okay, Its kind of an update too but, Me and my friend from H.S. have reconnected as friends about 2 weeks or so ago. We were Really good friends then though, I cannot say whether or not he had a thing for me in Highschool but my sis who was in school with me always said that she thought he thought i was cute. I never paid the idea any attention because my social life was shot due to a very strict dad. Anyways, so that was about 5 or so years ago and For some reason I have been looking for him since, like I was really sad to leave him as a friend and didnt realize it until I left. Now we are friends again and no strict daddy to tell me that I cant go out. When we first spoke again we discovered that we both just got out of 3 year relationships a few months ago. I am in another state but am moving back to the state hes in very soon. at first he didnt email me much but then I realized he works A LOT. but we had eachothers contact information and he sent me an email saying to call when ever I want, so I did and he sounded excited to hear me and steped away from his party for a moment to talk and joke a bit... next time he txt me asking me when I would be back in town and if I would be contacting him when I get in, I told him i was and that I would def contact him and said that he would "KNOW" when I get back... he was all "Hells Yeah"... I think that meant he was happy about that. okay well seeing as we both just got outta relationships and he probably has soooo many other options... Do I stand a chance? What should I say next? I really want us to hang out but I guess the first time I dont want either of us to make any moves, but I kind of want him to know in a subtle way so that if he is still taking space he still knows that I am interested in case he is. Is he still taking space? Is this a bad time? or is he JUST acting like a regular friend? Thanks. sorry for any typos
